Group Chief Executive
Alex led the formation of Axiom GRC in 2019, initially as a division of Marlowe plc, a London Stock Exchange listed business that he founded in 2015, which grew to a ~£1bn enterprise value. In early 2024 he led the take private of GRC in a deal backed by Inflexion. Alex has a background in the B2B software and service space leading fast paced organic and acquisition-led growth strategies.Alongside growth, Alex focuses on creating a culture which gives ambitious and dynamic people the platform to succeed.

Marc Smith
Chief Financial Officer
Marc joined Axiom GRC in January 2025 as Group CFO. Marc brings a proven track record of over 25 years’ financial leadership and international operational experience in technology, compliance, B2B and tech-enable service industries in executive roles for both private equity backed and listed businesses. Marc focuses on using financial precision together with innovation, to drive value in a dynamic business environment.
Marc is a qualified chartered accountant having trained with EY.

Steve Brain
CEO, SME
Steve joined the Axiom GRC group as CEO of the WorkNest, ISO and Cyber businesses having held executive leadership roles at global services and software vendors such as Civica, & Allscripts. Steve’s mission is to solve the myriad efficiency and useability challenges that governance, risk and compliance customers wrestle with today in a market filled with fragmented point solutions – a problem that becomes increasingly complex as your business grows. Caspar Bullock
Group Strategy Director
Caspar has been leading strategy since the formation of Axiom GRC in 2019. He is focused on driving both the Group’s strategic development and rapid growth strategy across its chosen markets. Caspar’s background covers M&A and Strategy across B2B information and software businesses such as Informa plc. Caspar is committed to ensuring Axiom delivers on its mission of organic and inorganic expansion while maintaining its strategic, client and financial focus. He is passionate about Axiom’s journey to bring together complementary businesses to create a unified leading GRC platform and vision.

Roger Eigenheer
Chief Transformation Officer
Roger joined Axiom GRC Group as Group Chief Transformation Officer in January 2025, bringing over 20 years of multinational operational leadership and related technology and transformational programme delivery in professional and business services firms including Accenture, Capita, EY and Azets Group. His focus is on delivering the key transformational projects that will drive Value Creation through operational excellence, accelerated revenue growth and enhancement of the Axiom GRC Group Platform. Roger is dedicated to building high performing teams, delivering innovative long-term solutions and developing trust at work.

Beatriz Shorrock
Divisional CEO, Enterprise Compliance
Beatriz has over 25 years’ experience in technology-enabled compliance solutions, focussed on Enterprise and Portfolio clients and building best in class teams.
Since joining Axiom GRC in 2019, Beatriz has successfully executed various business integrations and transformation, alongside a clear vision and strategy to deliver Vantify’s uniquely integrated compliance ecosystem, including a suite of complimentary software and service solutions.
Her ultimate passion lies with clients and people, which is evidenced with long-standing partnerships averaging over 10 years, excellent client satisfaction levels and a proud accolade of being shortlisted as a finalist for ‘People Focused CEO of the Year’.

Kirsty Fowler
Managing Director, Cyber and ISO
Kirsty joined Axiom GRC in November 2024 as Divisional Managing Director for Cyber and ISO, to lead the integration of these businesses acquired since 2023. Kirsty is a highly strategic leader with a passion for building a strong people culture to support businesses to drive organisational growth and excellence. Over the past 12 years Kirsty has worked within leading private equity backed B2B software business, Civica, bringing together 7 separate acquisitions into one operating model with a focus on developing and growing diverse and talented teams, promoting collaboration and developing new customer value propositions to support customer’s needs.

John Hood
Chief Information Officer
John has over 30 years’ experience in leading and delivering technology-enabled business growth and transformation. This has included areas such as; operations management, M&A integration, P&L management, operational resilience and technology and cyber strategy. Of this, the last 20 years have been in PE-backed Technology businesses driving growth and value across successive ownership cycles. He specialises in developing, growing and mentoring diverse and talented teams, promoting innovation and collaboration, whilst also ensuring strong, secure, and scalable infrastructure and unified business systems / governance processes.

Richard Eddolls
Platform Director, Enterprise Risk
Richard is a co-founder of CoreStream, with a big-4 consulting background (Deloitte Consulting) and more than 20 years of experience in the field of business-driven GRC system design. As the driving force behind the development of the innovative underpinnings of the CoreStream platform, Richard is responsible for ensuring we develop solutions that are market-relevant, and keep CoreStream at the forefront of the Enterprise GRC industry.

Josh Goodhardt
Divisional CEO, Compliance eLearning
Josh joined VinciWorks in 2007 and oversaw its rapid growth and acquisition into the Axiom GRC Group as CEO in 2021. Josh has wide-ranging experience having managed technology functions, sales & marketing, and operations teams. More recently he managed the merger of five acquisitions into VinciWorks creating an industry-leading compliance elearning business. Josh is passionate about sustainable growth for the business and its people, prioritising VinciWorks’ winning culture as a recipe for long-term success.

Matt Eddolls
Commercial Director, Enterprise Risk
Matt is a co-founder of CoreStream, with a big-4 consulting background (Deloitte Consulting) and more than 25 years’ experience in delivering enterprise risk solutions to large scale enterprises. Matt is responsible for the overall commercial direction of CoreStream ensuring we remain competitive and cost efficient, supporting our continued rapid growth and international expansion, whilst maintaining the nimble approach of a boutique solution provider.

Hugo St John
Head of M&A
Hugo joined Axiom GRC in 2021, initially in the M&A team at former parent Marlowe plc. He played a key role in scaling GRC, including its entry into the eLearning compliance market. Following Inflexion’s take-private of GRC, he became Head of M&A, driving GRC’s rapid expansion into the cybersecurity market, and GRC’s continued bolt-on programme, whilst also driving international expansion into North America. Previously, Hugo worked in the B2B Services M&A team at Citibank.

Matt Reid
Managing Director, Regulatory Intelligence
Matt is Managing Director of Barbour EHS, Axiom’s leading Regulatory Intelligence SaaS product. He has a wide range of experience across software and service businesses, operating in private equity and listed environments. Matt is leading Barbour EHS through a fast-paced growth stage, working to strengthen its product capability and help the business access new customer markets as part of its long-term strategy.
